Is the roof inspection really free?

Yes. No cost and no obligation. We'll get on your roof, take photos, and tell you exactly what we see. If you don't need anything, we'll tell you that.

Do you work with my insurance company?

Yes. If there's storm damage, we document it thoroughly, can meet with your adjuster, and help you understand your claim and estimate so nothing gets missed.

How do I know if I need a repair or a full replacement?

It depends on the age of the roof, how widespread the damage is, and the condition of the decking underneath. We'll show you photos and explain the trade-offs so you can make the call.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes take one to two days once the work starts, depending on the size of the roof and the weather. We'll give you a clear schedule before we begin.

Will you clean up when you're done?

Always. We protect your landscaping, haul off all the old material, and sweep your yard and driveway with a magnet for nails.

Do you handle commercial roofs?

Yes. We install reflective coating systems on flat commercial roofs and handle commercial repairs. Call us to set up a walkthrough.

Burrage Roofing isn't a franchise or a storm-chasing crew from out of state. It's three brothers from San Antonio who decided to do this the right way.

The Burrage brothers

Where it started

Sons of a Navy Senior Chief.

We grew up in a military family. Our father was a Navy Senior Chief, and his career moved us from Waco to Tyler before we finally put down roots in San Antonio. It's where we went to school, where we raised our own families, and where we call home.

Dad taught us that your word is your bond and that you take care of the people around you. Two of us carried that into the U.S. Army. All of us carried it into careers in construction, project management and financial services.

Between us, we've spent decades in roofing, home restoration and serving Texas families. Burrage Roofing is where all of that comes together: a family business that treats every home like it belongs to one of our own.

Jay Burrage

President

Jay Burrage

Operations, sales, customer service and supplier management.

Jay is a proud Native Texan, born in Waco and raised as a "Military Brat," the son of a retired Navy Senior Chief. His family settled in Tyler before calling San Antonio home, where he graduated from high school.

Jay fulfilled his childhood dream by serving in the United States Army, specializing in Air Assault operations with the 101st Airborne (Screaming Eagles) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. After active duty, he continued serving in the National and Texas Guard.

With more than two decades in roofing and home restoration and over 30 years of project and account management, Jay co-founded Burrage Roofing to serve the Greater San Antonio and Austin communities. He leads a team of local, honest and dependable people who share his passion for exceptional service and quality workmanship.

Mark Burrage

Finance, marketing and business development.

Born in Tyler and raised in San Antonio, Mark is the youngest of six boys and the proud son of a retired Navy Senior Chief.

Mark spent 25 years in financial services, earning executive education certifications from institutions including Stanford University. He spent two decades at USAA overseeing mortgage products, market strategy, sales and digital transformation, taking care of military families just like the one he grew up in. Driven by a passion for serving customers, he co-founded Burrage Roofing as a family business.

Outside of work, Mark is the proud father of three, who inspire him to strive for excellence every day. He also competes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as a Brown Belt under Professor Rodrigo Pinheiro.

Justin brings more than 20 years of experience in construction project management and sales. A U.S. Army veteran, he leads with discipline, precision and a commitment to excellence, making sure every project meets the highest standards of quality, communication and customer service.

Justin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from LeTourneau University, with a strong focus on strategic planning and execution. His military background and leadership style strengthen Burrage Roofing's mission to deliver dependable, high-quality results that exceed expectations.
